Mitch Groves works with Rabia Transitions as a Development and Research Analyst on research, resource mobilisation, and project development, supporting the organisation’s climate finance work and funding strategy across its thematic priorities. He brings experience spanning sustainability strategy, regenerative agriculture and climate finance advisory. Previously, Mitch was a consultant at Systemiq, where he worked across supply chain risk, nature-based solutions finance, and corporate decarbonisation, and co-authored research on scaling finance for nature-based solutions in Kenya. He has also spent time working as a consultant from Kigali, Rwanda. Mitch holds an MSc with distinction in Climate Change, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex, where his dissertation, for which he also received a distinction, examined financing barriers to nature-based solutions in Ghana’s Volta region. Outside work, he trains in boxing, plays football and is an avid reader.
